On behalf of our client, DE-YAN, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the following position in Serbia: Creative Director (Experiential, Set Design, Events).

Role Overview:

The Creative Director (Experiential Design) at DE-YAN Serbia will lead the conceptualization and execution of cutting-edge experiential projects. This role requires expertise in spatial and interactive design, crafting immersive brand experiences that captivate audiences. The ideal candidate will have 8–15 years of agency experience (exceptions for exceptional portfolios) and will be responsible for mentoring a multidisciplinary creative team, collaborating with clients to bring visions to life, and ensuring all projects meet DE-YAN’s high standards of innovation and execution. The Creative Director reports directly to the VP of Studio, and works alongside global creative leadership and the ECD in Europe to push the boundaries of experiential design.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the concept, development, and execution of experiential projects with a focus on innovation and impact.

  • Inspire and mentor a multidisciplinary creative team, guiding them through the creative process.

  • Ensure projects align with client goals and DE-YAN’s creative vision.

  • Act as the primary client contact, translating brand visions into immersive experiences.

  • Lead client presentations, ensuring clear communication and seamless collaboration.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and architects to ensure smooth execution from concept to completion.

  • Maintain DE-YAN’s high-quality standards for design, innovation, and impact.

  • Utilize deep knowledge of spatial design, set design, and event architecture to create immersive experiences.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into projects.

  • Oversee the technical execution, collaborating with fabricators, lighting designers, and specialists.

  • Contribute to DE-YAN’s creative strategy, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Ensure alignment of creative concepts and project goals across global teams.

  • Work with marketing teams to create experiences that resonate with in-person and digital audiences.

  • Develop creative solutions that enhance brand identity and engagement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Fine Arts, Design, Architecture, Event Production, or related fields. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are a plus.

  • 8–15 years in creative direction, experiential design, or set design within agency or production environments.

  • Proven track record in designing and executing immersive, interactive brand experiences, with a cutting-edge portfolio.

  • Experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary creative teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.

  • Strong expertise in spatial design, event architecture, and interactive environments.

  • Exceptional client-facing skills, with experience translating client visions into creative concepts.

  • Ability to manage large-scale projects, budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring flawless execution.

  • Passion for pushing design boundaries, integrating new technologies and trends into experiential activations.

  • Experience working in cross-regional teams, managing projects across different cultures.

  • Strong verbal and written skills, with experience presenting to internal teams and clients.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and evolving project requirements.
