On behalf of our client, MagnaPharm, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill the following position: Financial Controller.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Adequate oversight of the regional performance, act as a control position in case of Opex / Capex / Net Working Capital and provide reliable budget and regular forecast information.
Collaborate closely with General Management, Central Finance and Controlling, Sales, Operation, Logistics, Business Development and Accounting to ensure financial efficiency and compliance.
Territory: Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo (3 legal entities).
The position reports to Central Controlling and Finance.
Reporting:
Monthly closing: Ensure timely preparation of monthly P&Ls, Balance sheets and presentations and other regular monthly reports about the companies in scope according to Group reporting requirements. Control and advice accruals for accounting, keep close relationship with accounting service providers and manage timely and accurate booking.
Prepare analysis, explanation of budget and forecast variances.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Preparation of the yearly budget and quarterly forecast, ensure alignment with project timeline (P&Ls, Balance Sheet, Net Working Capital, Management presentations and reviews)
Close control of forecast fulfilment, report expected performance (reforecast) indicating any issues and advice possible savings, actions in close collaboration with the Business
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
Support Business Development in modelling and long-term calculations
Ensure timely and reliable analysis for ad-hoc questions raised by the Group or General Management
Financial project support:
Follow up controlling aspects of the projects in the territory
Take part in system implementation, new business model preparation
Review current processes of the territory and advice solutions on improvement
Compliance, audit and risk management:
Ensure that the territory meet all group reporting requirements
Keep close contact with accounting, taxation and legal service providers to ensure compliances
Support audits (group, local statutory or tax revision, etc.)
Examine and provide preliminary information on any special treatment of new transactions
Collaboration:
Keep continuous contact with General Management, Central Finance and Controlling, Business and Accounting
Take active part in regular meetings and business reviews
Ensure timely feedback on questions raised by the Group, Management, Central Finance and Controlling
Degree in field of Economy or Finance and Accountancy
3+ years controlling experience at a multinational company (preferred commercial or pharma companies)
Full reporting oversight of P&L, Balance Sheet
Strong experience in working with Excel
Good communication skills, friendly, open and proactive attitude
Fluent English and experience working in a multinational environment
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in a Big Four (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) environment is highly desirable
Experience in ERP implementation projects (e.g. involvement in system roll-out, migration, or process optimization)
Experience in usage of reporting tools, ERP
Accounting experience
Former responsibility of consolidation and treatment of several legal entities
Experience with system implementation and financial process improvement
