On behalf of our client TEC Bobov Dol, a coal-fired power plant which generates electricity in Bulgaria, situated in the lands of the village Golemo Selo near the town of Bobov Dol, Kyustendil Province. The plant is located near the Bobov Dol coal mines and has an installed capacity of 630 MW. We are looking for an ambitious and proactive candidate who is ready to gain new experience in the following position: Shift Supervisor – “Electrical” Workshop.
Location: Bobov Dol, Bulgaria.
Relocation is required, and the employment contract is permanent.
• Manages duty operational personnel during the shift; responsible for compliance with occupational safety requirements, correct operation, and performing rounds during the shift.
• Strictly complies with instructions for reliable and safe operation.
• Ensures operating mode of equipment, machines and installations depending on plant operation.
• Controls execution of orders/instructions by subordinate personnel.
• In incidents and emergencies, organises immediate elimination.
• Maintains continuous control of serviceability and condition of equipment.
• Ensures execution of switching operations and taking equipment out of/putting into operation.
• Controls execution of test programmes.
• Leads elimination of equipment defects using shift personnel or jointly with repair personnel.
• Accepts equipment after repair.
• Executes orders of higher operational staff and other managers as specified in the job instruction.
• Acts according to the emergency elimination instruction in incidents/emergencies.
• Hands over and takes over the shift according to procedures.
• Maintains operational and technological documentation.
• Participates in emergency and fire drills.
• Responsible for qualification and training/briefing of workshop personnel.
• Monitors compliance with technological, labour and production discipline.
Required knowledge:
• General knowledge of the main technical disciplines.
• In‑depth knowledge of: fundamentals of electrical engineering; electrical machines and apparatus; automation and telemechanics.
• Detailed knowledge of: design/operating principles/features/operating modes and location of generators, transformers, electric motors and switchgear (KRU); operating instructions and diagrams; operating principles and location of protective devices, automation, interlocks and signalling; design and characteristics of electrical equipment in other workshops; procedures for commissioning/decommissioning, normal operation and emergency elimination for equipment under responsibility.
