On behalf of our client TEC Bobov Dol, a coal-fired power plant which generates electricity in Bulgaria, situated in the lands of the village Golemo Selo near the town of Bobov Dol, Kyustendil Province. The plant is located near the Bobov Dol coal mines and has an installed capacity of 630 MW. We are looking for an ambitious and proactive candidate who is ready to gain new experience in the following position: Steam Turbine Operator.
Location: Bobov Dol, Bulgaria.
Relocation is required, and the employment contract is permanent.
• Leads, organises and controls the overall operation of the turbine, ensuring trouble‑free and economical operation of the main and auxiliary turbine equipment.
• Executes instructions received from the Shift Supervisor after understanding them well, through subordinate personnel.
• Brings the turbine up to 3000 rpm during commissioning/start‑up.
• Timely replacement/changeover of operating equipment; turning/rotation according to the operating schedule; switching and preventive maintenance.
• Timely takes equipment out for repair and monitors correct withdrawal of equipment from service.
• Secondary technical education.
• Thermal power engineering; heat engineering; electrical machines and apparatus; electrical networks and power plants; mechanical engineering.
• At least 2 years as a steam turbine operator.
• General knowledge of main technical disciplines.
• In‑depth knowledge of: electrical networks and power plants; fundamentals of heat engineering; electrical machines and apparatus; electrical engineering; machine science; automation and telemechanics; heat transfer.
• Detailed knowledge of: operating principle of turbine K‑210‑130 and auxiliary equipment; pipeline diagrams within the turbine area and the purpose of all steam/water/oil/drain valves and gate valves; location and purpose of all I&C instruments; operation of automatic regulators, protections and signalling of the unit; main characteristics of the turbine unit and auxiliary equipment and basic operating principle.
