On behalf of our client TEC Bobov Dol, a coal-fired power plant which generates electricity in Bulgaria, situated in the lands of the village Golemo Selo near the town of Bobov Dol, Kyustendil Province. The plant is located near the Bobov Dol coal mines and has an installed capacity of 630 MW. We are looking for an ambitious and proactive candidate who is ready to gain new experience in the following position: Shift Supervisor – “Boiler” Workshop.
Location: Bobov Dol, Bulgaria.
Relocation is required, and the employment contract is permanent.
• Leads overall operational servicing of the steam generator – start‑up, shutdown and adjustment of the combustion regime according to the technological mode.
• Reads diagrams, charts and instrument readings at set intervals; controls trouble‑free operation and performs relevant actions when needed.
• Ensures continuous and trouble‑free operation of the steam generator and auxiliary installations: pulverising systems, gas‑air and fuel‑oil systems, drainage systems, burners, chemical reagent dosing system in the steam pipeline tract, service and wash water systems, compressed air system.
• Maintains production logs: operational switching log; log of opened/closed repair work permits; data and reports.
• Performs responsible shutdown/start‑up operations and elimination of steam‑generator emergencies.
• Participates in start‑up, shutdown and switching of installations.
• Conducts periodic rounds and observations.
• Performs work involving responsibility for actions affecting safety.
• Detects and eliminates malfunctions in steam generator operation.
• Secondary education.
• 4 years of experience in the same or similar position.
• Basic knowledge of the company’s specific production.
• Knowledge of tools, machines, installations and devices used in repair and installation operations and the rules for working with them.
• Knowledge of purpose, design and installation method of parts, assemblies and units.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of assembly technology, rational assembly methods and methods for achieving accuracy.
• Knowledge of design, operating principle and use of measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of cases for using complex installation fixtures and rules for working with them.
