On behalf of our client TEC Bobov Dol, a coal-fired power plant which generates electricity in Bulgaria, situated in the lands of the village Golemo Selo near the town of Bobov Dol, Kyustendil Province. The plant is located near the Bobov Dol coal mines and has an installed capacity of 630 MW. We are looking for an ambitious and proactive candidate who is ready to gain new experience in the following position: Unit/Block Operator in Power Plant.
Location: Bobov Dol, Bulgaria.
Relocation is required, and the employment contract is permanent.
• During duty, operates and ensures reliable and trouble‑free operation of process control and automation systems.
• Ensures reliable and trouble‑free operation of process measurement, control and management systems; automatic devices and regulators; technological protections; interlocks; signalling; and remote control devices.
• Performs operations for switching on/off control and management systems with all related elements.
• Adjusts limit switches of actuators and regulators.
• Tests technological protections, interlocks and signalling.
• Ensures safety of personnel performing repair and commissioning works.
• Maintains technological documentation.
• Performs rounds according to route cards.
• Specialised secondary education.
• In the field of electric power engineering.
• 5 years of professional experience in the same or similar position.
• General knowledge of main technical disciplines and the process of producing electrical and thermal energy.
• Detailed knowledge of: design/operating principles of process measuring instruments, automatic devices and regulators; principles and structural/wiring/communication diagrams of regulators, protections, remote control systems, signalling, selective control schemes of power lines and their location; use of portable control instruments and test/set‑up rigs at panels; technological process for production of thermal and electrical energy.
